Jen’s Disney experience began on Sunday afternoons as a little girl looking forward to the weekly Disney show that night, and then finally experiencing that magic with the live characters and all the fireworks when her grandparents took her to Walt Disney World in the 1970s. A lifelong fan was born. Over the next two decades, she became an even more avid fan, appreciating the depth and breadth of Disney with frequent visits to parks and regular consumption of Disney content in theaters and television.
Her Disney experience was magnified in 2005 with the birth of her son, giving her a whole new reason to share the experience all over again. Since then, she has logged numerous, (stopped counting around 34) trips to Disney world, 6 trips to Disneyland and 11 Disney cruises traveling from the Midwest, Southeast, and Northeast by plane and car to make it happen. An efficiency expert, she honed her skills in scheduling the parks, researching wait times, restraints, hotels, pools, park transportation, and seasonal trends to maximize the experience for her whole family. Doing so, she developed an even further love of how to experience every part of Disney on land and sea.
Disney trips brought an additional challenge as her son was diagnosed on the autism spectrum coupled with ADHD. This has given her an even further appreciation for the requirements of travel with a special needs child, but it does not stop her from getting the most out of every Disney experience. She is our Autism and Special Needs expert having navigated the parks and cruises with a special needs child from an infant to a teen. We know this can make a Disney experience quite intimidating, but she knows the best way to navigate the parks, hotels, and transportation required to make the most of the experience for everyone involved. You don’t have to miss out on any of the Magic! You just need to know her tricks for how to make the experience wonderful for these great kids that need the love and magic of Disney as much if not more.
